Target Audience - Parents of children aged 10-12.
Magazine Purpose - To Inform Parents on the best way for them to help their children make the transition from Primary to Secondary School.
Reader Profiles of John and Maggie Durham.-
John and Maggie Durham live in Winchester in the UK; they have an 11 year old daughter called Emily Elizabeth. Emily Elizabeth is a very active and bright Girl, she has the potential to achieve extraordinarily in her life and her parents are prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure that happens. However they do not want to over push her, and are unsure of how to introduce her to life as a secondary school student, where it really matters. They are worried that her shyness and sometimes lack of confidence will prevent her from achieving everything they know she is capable of. They are looking for a guide to show them the best way in which to introduce their child into the world of “big school” with confidence.
Maggie Durham ,42 -is a Part time secretary at a high flying law firm. She was Born in Oxford, but moved to London to Marry John. She was raised by a Car Salesman Father and a Nurse mother, William and Cheryl Carter. Her life Just like Her husband revolves around her two children, who are the primary reason she works part time, her passions are antique Jewellery and art.
Emily Elizabeth,11 - Is Bright and enthusiastic, Loves maths, Justin Bieber, and One Direction. Her favorite colour is baby Pink and she wants to be a Vet when she grows up.
